Owner, Operator, Photographer

Sweet, canned, and sans pectin: words used to describe the preserve. Describing the jelley take a bit more effort: nerd, band geek, “university educated”... oh right, he also takes photos sometimes. A lot of photos, to be honest. Some would say it’s what he was born to do. The same old story of being given a camera at a young age, with a few detours along the way.

What started out as a hobby turned into a career when a few budget cuts resulted in a lack of employment. After being given the axe thanks to a few bureaucrats desperately seeking the bottom line, Everett did what any normal person would do. Became a photographer. After all a job with a camera beats the bread lines any day of the week; even Mondays.

You might be thinking about the name. Jelley? Really? It shakes, it wiggles, and confounds science. But it also preserves. In the end isn’t that what photography should be? Something to excite your neurons long after the gray matter has forgotten what those moments felt like. Capturing the bold, the simple, and the ineffable and saving them for when you need them most. So grab a jar out of the cupboard and pry it open.
